By using 2U you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
Who can use 2U
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. One account per phone number. The account is yours; do not let someone else use it.
How 2U works
Your deck is built from your own address book. You can only ever swipe people you already have saved, and only people who have your number saved can see you. A match needs a right swipe from both sides, which means the two of you already had each other's numbers.
Swiping right sends that person one anonymous WhatsApp message. It does not name you. If they swipe you back, you match and can then talk on WhatsApp yourselves.
What you agree not to do
- Upload someone else's photo, or pretend to be another person.
- Import contacts you have no relationship with in order to message strangers.
- Harass, threaten, defraud or send sexual content to anyone through a match.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate the service.
- Use 2U where doing so breaks your local law.
We can suspend or remove an account that does any of this, without refund.
Swipes and payment
Every new account gets a number of free swipes. After that, swipes are sold in packs — at the time of writing, ₹499 for 1,000 swipes — through Razorpay. Prices may change; the price shown at purchase is the one that applies.
Swipes are a digital good credited immediately and consumed as you use them. Because of that they are non-refundable once credited, except where Indian consumer law requires otherwise, or where a technical fault on our side took swipes you did not use — tell us and we will put them back. Swipes have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Other people
2U introduces you to people you already know. It does not screen them, verify them, or run background checks. How you behave when you meet is between you — take the same care you would take meeting anyone. We are not responsible for what another user does.
Availability
2U is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change or withdraw features. WhatsApp delivery depends on Meta and is outside our control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with 2U is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy. We can end your access if you break these terms. Unused swipes are forfeited on deletion.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
